Screening Room

The Video Data Bank Screening Room is free and open to the public by appointment. To schedule viewing time please call 312.345.3550 or email our Distribution Manager with the following information:

Name • Phone • Requested Date & Time • Requested Titles

We will respond in order to confirm your viewing appointment. The screening room can fit 4-5 guests comfortably.

A note for non-SAIC Professors:  If you are planning to have your students visit the VDB as part of their course projects, please contact us so we can work with you to facilitate access.

Location

The VDB is located in a School of the Art Institute building, and campus security will ask guests to provide a photo ID for building entry.

112. S. Michigan Avenue is located directly across from the Art Institute of Chicago Museum entrance, and is between Adams Street and Monroe Street.

Hours

The VDB Offices and Screening Room are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Central Time Zone), year-round.
